Frequently asked questions
Velvet Society is an advertising directory for adults. These answers explain the platform and its limits.
A directory, not an agency
Advertisers are responsible for their listings and their own conduct. Velvet Society sells advertising space, not personal services. Contacting an advertiser does not make the platform a party to any arrangement.
Before you use the directory
- Use the site only if you are at least 18.
- Read profile information critically. Checks and moderation cannot remove every risk.
- Keep passwords, sign-in codes, and payment credentials private.
Who can advertise?
Adult independent advertisers and agencies can apply. Creating an account does not itself approve a profile or make it public.
What do profile checks mean?
Checks support the platform’s review process. They are not an endorsement of an advertiser or an assurance about future conduct.
Why is my profile not public?
Publication depends on the required account, profile, moderation, and advertising-entitlement conditions. Payment alone does not override a missing requirement or a restriction.
Will my advertising term renew?
Advertising is prepaid for a fixed term. Terms do not renew automatically. Review the duration and total before each purchase.
Does Spotlight promise an immediate slot?
A Spotlight purchase can result in an available slot or a place in the queue for the applicable placement pool. Read the offer and order status; payment is not a promise of immediate display.
Does advertising promise enquiries or income?
No. Placement does not promise enquiries, bookings, income, or a particular business result.
How do I recover my password?
Use /auth/forgot-password to request a six-digit code. Enter your email and code at /auth/validate-code. Do not share the code.
Where can I ask for help or report a concern?
Use /dashboard/support when signed in. If you cannot sign in, use /contact. Include the relevant page or order reference, but no passwords or payment credentials.
